The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tbilisi is announcing the call for applications for short courses of ''A'' category and Master degree programs - including distance learning option - starting in winter 2011 offered by a number of Dutch institutions under the NFP/Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (administered by Nuffic on behalf of the Netherlands' Ministry for Development Cooperation). The aim of the NFP is to contribute to institutional development and capacity-building of Georgian and Armenian organizations by training their professional staff. The NFP applicant should:
* be a citizen of Georgia or Armenia
* be a mid-career professional with at least two years of work experience
* have been unconditionally admitted to the Dutch institution that provides the course (see the list)
* be nominated by her/his employer who pledges to pay the applicant's salary and guarantees that the s/he will return to the same or higher position upon the end of the fellowship period
* not be employed by a large industrial, commercial, international or multinational organization
* be proficient in English.
The applicants who meet the above criteria are invited to apply for the NFP fellowship by submitting their application to the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Tbilisi. The application package should include the following:
* Application form (enclosed)
* Admission letter from the Dutch institution (original not requested)
* Employer's statement (according to the instructions detailed in the application form, page 5)
* Copy of the applicant's passport
* Official results of either TOEFL (213 computer-based, 79 internet-based) or IELTS (6.0). This is not required from the applicants who received their tertiary education in English
* Copies of diplomas (notarization not requested)
* CV.
Deadline for applying at the Embassy is 1 October 2010, 13:00 hrs. Please note that the deadline of the course providers is 1 September 2010.
